Festival Camping: FAQ

  • Where do I park if I purchase tent camping?

Parking is not provided for tent camping. You will be able to drop off tent camping materials, park your car downtown walk to the festival camping location.

  • What if I want to camp next to my vehicle?

You need to purchase “vehicle camping”. You can put a tent next to your vehicle if you can fit in your allotted 10×10 space.

  • Where is the festival camping located?

Festival camping will be located at the very end of East Main Street right next to the Buena Vista River Park. Directions: type in 715 E Main St, Buena Vista, CO 81211, and the festival camping will be directly across the street. It is a 4 minute walk to event festivities and restaurants downtown.

  • Will showers and public bathrooms be available near the camping location?

Porta pots and trash receptacles will be available at the camping location. Public showers are available across the street at the Buena Vista Community Center.

  • Will the be hookups for my RV?

The RV camping does not have a full hookup. The site will have trash service, recycling opportunities and porta pots.

  • Will the camping sites have electricity?

None of the camping sites will have electricity or sewer hook ups.  No open fires will be allowed. Propane and camping stoves may be used at both locations.

  • How will I know where to set up?

Campsites will be regulated and staffed with volunteers to aid in information sharing and to assure campers know and understand the regulations and rules of these special event campsites. Each camper will also receive a handout with the rules and regulations of the allotted campsites. Clear signage will also be posted at each site.

  • What are the rules at the festival camping location?

Some basic camping rules: Be friendly. Have fun. And always respect your camping neighbor’s space.

  1. Campers must reserve spaces in advance online.  If spaces are still available at the time of the event they will be on a first come first serve basis.  Spaces will be limited. We will be offering tent, vehicle, and RV spaces. Prices will vary. Register here: https://14erfest.ignitecx.com/registration.

  2. No one night stays.  You must book for both nights.

  3. Check in is on Friday, September 28th after 12pm.  Check out is by 4pm Sunday, September 30.

  4. Quiet hours are 10:00pm until 6:30am. No generators may be used during these hours.

  5. All guests must dispose of their own trash in designated trash areas.

  6. Please keep your site clean and presentable at all times

  7. Pets are required to be on a leash of 10 feet or less at all times.  No exceptions. Please clean up after your pets.

  8. Please do not feed the wild animals and do not leave food out when not being consumed.

  9. Only use the designated restroom services.
